Knowledge production in Latin America
Interculturalidad and Buen Vivir
WELCOME TO OUR PAGE
Here you will read and learn about two concepts that emerged in Latin America: Interculturalidad and Buen Vivir. Through different approaches and resources we ask ourselves if there is any space left for other types of knowledge different from the Western ones.

Take a look at the various sections to know more about these concepts, and their challenges when translating them into practice. Also, we invite you to review the section From the field! where we have interviewed two anthropologists working in Peru, who tell us more about how interculturalidad and buen vivir are used in politics and development.

Finally, the Conclusions section goes 'behind the scene', as you can discover more about our own background and about our reflections around the creation of this webpage.

We hope you enjoy the content!
